Athlone Springs Hotel in Athlone

A few minutes drive outside the town ,but also on the A2,A3 bus route 10 mins journey ,had a wonderful and relaxing weekend away ,great value and very clean and spacious rooms .with a very modern bathroom.

I had a great stay at this hotel a while back where I was well and truly looked after by a staff member named Fiona Brennan whom I'm not sure works in the springs anymore but regardless Fiona made the experience so much more enjoyable and welcoming .

Great hotel! I struggle to fault it. Staff were lovely, rooms were excellent and a tasty breakfast. I believe it also has a gym and pool. Wasn't too expensive either. It's a bit of a drive out of town but staff will call a taxi for you (taxis take cards).

this hotel was a bit of a let-down, unfortunately. the bar offered a lively atmosphere and friendly staff and they do have a pool and a sauna, but the location is smack in the middle of an industrial park, the rug in our room had quite a few suspicious stains, the hotel appeared quite dated, the comfort of our beds as well as the breakfast was disappointing (save for the delicious pancakes) and the state of our bathroom was rather questionable in both smell and facilities. their staff is great though.

Rooms are very clean and nice Elemis toiletries. Particularly impressed with the receptionist, Yasmine, who was friendly and informative.

Clean hotel, very good gym and swimming pool

Amazing service, excellent leisure centre. Room was spacious, got a free upgrade which was very kind. Got breakfast in bed which was delicious. A really great hotel, also excellent value for what's available in Ireland currently
