Athlone Springs Hotel in Athlone

I've been using the Athlone Springs Hotel for over 10 years now & I can't fault it. I regularly use their meeting room facilities & their accommodation. I've found them to be of the highest standard. From the moment you enter the hotel you'll find all the staff friendly & helpful from the reception desk to the conference staff & the amazing breakfast team. All go above & beyond to make your stay as stress free & comfortable as possible. I've stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland & I would rate the Athlone Springs Hotel as the No.1 for hospitality & service. A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. Book the Athlone Springs with confidence & you're sure to return again.

Nice hotel just outside of the town room were clean and tidy they had lamp no actual ceiling light service was great would make a nice wedding venue

Cedar restaurant review- outstanding food and outstanding service. I only booked table a day before mother's day and to start off, staff on the phone was very helpful. The entire experience was lovely . I got a little gift from them also for Mothers day which was a lovely touch . Pricing good also for the quality they provide. Have been there few times and always had positive experience.

Fine went for lunch slow service. Tuna melt on brown bread not sourdough!! as on menu. Fine for passing through, clean.

Worth a visit Staff very helpful

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Had a lovely family dinner there only 2 weeks ago for a special occasion.. I told the girls serving us that I"d forget their names but sincere thanks to all. The manager reserved tables in the bar for us after our meal which was very thoughtful of him.. There was a young man playing there & his music was very easy on the ear The pool was a real bonus! Both granny, our children & grandchildren had great fun in it. Didn't like the first room given to us but was moved to lovely quiet room without any fuss. The breakfast was the tastiest & freshest that hubby & I had taasted in a long time. The location is outside Athlone Town itself However,It is next door to a pharmacy, Supervalu & at least one takeaway, so one is not isolated should they need to "pickup" some items. The only negative comment is the layout of the bar & the room off it where we ate. Staff did well to negotiate the two rooms while serving food. There is a tiny reception area but that didn't bother us. I would recommend this hotel for couples & families. Marie C.

Nice leisure centre for the kids. Pity about the girl on reception who was rude and disinterested with customers
