The Bailey Bar in Athlone

Its a simple accomodation but thats reflectes in the price . Very central . Rooms are clean and i had a perfect sleep . Abpve all staff is very friensly and helpfull . I came here with my bicycle and after asking where i could.park the bike safely they wven gave me the option of taking it intp my room . Also the adjacent bar serves very decent food at a reasonable price . Overall very pleasant experience to stay at the bailey .

We recently hosted a party at The Bailey Bar on Saturday night, and it was outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent, the service was seamless, and the staff were truly unbelievable throughout the evening. From the moment we arrived, everyone felt comfortable and well looked after. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and many of our guests commented on how friendly and attentive they were. It was an amazing experience overall, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Bailey for any special occasion. I’ll definitely be booking future parties there.

Was home in Ireland recently for 5 weeks did lots of traveling and eating out everyday all over the country, people asked me what was your favorite meal and I always said Bailey bar athlone. The food was beautiful best steak sandwich had all trip, my partner loved her lasagne. The menu looked great I wanted to try other options too. Irish music in the background relaxed pub style. Beautiful food have told all my friends thar live in Ireland to go and eat there.

We ate a delicious full breakfast and the people were very friendly.

Had the most fab meal here again last week, service was brilliant and food was absolutely gorgeous, we had the chicken wings, bacon and cabbage, the chicken wrap meal and steak, everything was absolutely stunning, steak was cooked to perfection! We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend! will be back again!
