We brought our in-laws here on Sunday, it was a little loud and busy as can be expected on a Sunday afternoon, but the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious

It's grand. Good selection of delicious food. The staff are a bit disinterested and the prices are a bit higher than they should be but overall it's grand.

Ferociously overpriced which is fine if you know that going in. What I really object to however is spending over €65 on some drinks and crisps only for them to try to charge 30 cents each for paper bags. AVOCA you are making enough of a margin, give some free bags away.

Beautiful shop, lovely cafe, very helpful staff, on the more expensive side, but high quality goods cost more, and they are all beautiful, high quality goods, a visit is recommended.

06/06/2026: This is the most incredible value lunch i have had in a long time. Stopped off with my mother and we both had their burger with salad and fries, which we split between both of us. And it was just 9.99 each. It was really good quality food and the service was top notch. i will definitely call in here next time.I'm back in ireland.
19/05/2026: A Charming little bar in the village of Kilmaanogue in the shadows of the Sugarloaf only room for possibly 30 people But the atmosphere and staff are first class and the Pint of Guinness is excellent 👍

Avoca Fern House Cafe

17/09/2026: Amazing!! We stopped here last minute and were able to get the afternoon tea. It was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Everyone was so friendly and although we didn’t get to try the other food it all looked delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.
01/09/2026: This is a restaurant we really like; the ambiance is elegant and comfortable. However, I felt the ingredients and quality of the breakfast had completely declined.
