It is a beautiful place in a lovely location. Great for lunch with an appetising range of quality dishes. The seating area can be loud when full. The shop offers excellent clothing, food, and gardening products, though generally in the high price range.

Today I went to Avoca to look for a present for my friend's 50th birthday, and I was captivated by the very spring-like display. Mother’s Day is coming up and there are so many wonderful things! After shopping, I look forward to eating scones at the cafe next door.

Avoca Fern House Cafe

23/03/2024: I paid €27.50 for 2 poached eggs, 2 grilled bacon, 1 tomato, beans,mushrooms, toast & 2 teas. I get the same in 3 establishments in Wicklow Town & Ashford for €14. I was so shocked, I was literally speechless. The service was excellent.
13/03/2024: Excellent place for lunch or brunch. Freshly made food!

03/10/2023: Pluck's was a great local pub, sadly closed now because the lease ran out and Wicklow town planners think it's just fine to allow the only social amenity in the village to be shut. Shame!
22/09/2023: Great pub run extremely well ..very friendly users..its so sad that this weekend the doors are closing for good..no one knows what is going to happen to this lovely pub..its a huge loss to the community in kilmac ..
