The best restaurants in Kilmacanogue

24/08/2026: Confusing and slow service. Unfair price for the amount of food. The place is beautiful, but it lacks some identity. It doesn't justify the price x quality x quantity. The dishes came wrong and after they realized it, they removed them from my table and took them to another!?!? How is that possible... Didn't they take them back to the kitchen to prepare for another table? The gnocchi dish was served with very few gnocchi.

09/08/2026: I do not normally write reviews but I give this one star in the hope management may eventually become more accomodating for people with allergies. I have eaten in many places with my 5 yr old daughter who has allergies and the majority although they cannot guarantee cross contamination are very helpful and make an effort to reduce the risk. Acoca Fern House Cafe is one of the least accommodating places, in the end we left without ordering. Chef and manager seemed very inconvenienced to be dealing with someone with an allergy and were not interested. At their price point you would expect more professional service.

06/06/2026: This is the most incredible value lunch i have had in a long time. Stopped off with my mother and we both had their burger with salad and fries, which we split between both of us. And it was just 9.99 each. It was really good quality food and the service was top notch. i will definitely call in here next time.I'm back in ireland.

19/05/2026: A Charming little bar in the village of Kilmaanogue in the shadows of the Sugarloaf only room for possibly 30 people But the atmosphere and staff are first class and the Pint of Guinness is excellent 👍
