Always amazing and awesome, brilliant and helpful, knowledgeable instructors, safety oriented. I only wish there was one in Drogheda or Dundalk... Update: Great spot for climbers of all ages. Instructors are excellent — patient, encouraging, and really know how to get the best out of kids (especially through the NICAS program). The bouldering area is fun and well laid out, with plenty of variety to keep things challenging. Nice bonus for parents: good coffee, comfy sofas, free Wi-Fi, and sockets for charging while you wait. Toilets are clean, and the centre also runs great birthday parties for kids. 💡 Tip: Book in advance — NICAS and kids’ sessions fill up quickly.

Had a brilliant time on a 1 hour introductory session with the kids today. Thomas, our instructor, was great - super patient and knowledgeable. We'll be back!

What a brilliant experience! My wife took my daughter who’s eight one weekend and myself and my son who’s six went the following week, we both did the 1 Hour Roped Climbing Taster (€64 for two for one hour). This includes the harness rental. We had different instructors both of whom were absolutely brilliant. The girls had Brendan looking after them and they said he couldn’t have been nicer and we had Donal. He was super friendly, very encouraging and reassuring during the climbs. Considering Ben is only 6 this really helped as he’d never done anything like this before. He is also small so rest assured that if you want to take your kid who’s six (the youngest age to climb) there are plenty of options and they manage just fine on the walls. All in all a brilliant experience and we’ll 100% be back to do more climbing.

It was a first time experience for my 2 grandsons who thoroughly enjoyed it, guided from start to finish by their expert Instructor, Sean. In fact one of them told me he was 'bursting with excitement ' as he waited for his turn !!

I'm 54 years old, never did this before. We had two teenage boys with us, both first time climbers. We were all nervous but our trainer( didn't get his name), made it all go smoothly. We all made it to at least one 'summit' and thoroughly enjoyed the session. Easy place to drive to, parking is free, there's coffee and cake for treats in the lobby cafe. Fully recommend this activity.

Urbanity

28/09/2025: You can make up your breakfast which is great as the menu is not your traditional one, seems to have lots of alternative options. Not much space between the seats. Seems to be a popular spot, hence was crowdy. Pricey as well as I spent around 35 euros for breakfast for two. I enjoyed my eggs , sourdough bread was quite dry. Seems like a shop bought one.
27/09/2025: Fun and hip brunch spot - eggs were great.

Mulligan's

16/09/2025: Great pint of Guiness. Lovely to go and have a chat. No music blaring in the background or trying to talk over the TV.
15/09/2025: I loved it, it's a pub where local people go after leaving the office, with few tourists.
