Nice pub, lovely carvery at the weekends, can get very busy. Good table service

The food was fine. Not a broad range. My mum ordered the omellette without any of the trimmings so basically it was plain and they charged her the full price which I thought was abit rich. She did say it was tasty and felt maybe they added a 3rd egg in order to bulk it up to match the price. I had the Lasagna which was served in a deep bowl which was unusual but melted cheese (removeable) served on top like a rice cake. It was nice but strange. Children's food looked nice especially the gugons. I had to look for a waitress to clean our table and for menus which was abit poor as the place wasn't overly packed. Our waitress was nice though so that's always a plus.

Great Guinness and fantastic Chicken Wings, very nice staff too. I also drink bottled Heineken and I like how cold the bottles of Heineken are a perfect temperature nice and smooth with a crisp finish. I much prefer here over the Coach House.

Lovely place. Cosy and clean. Need more items for vegan palettes . Everything had dairy . No alternative milk available for coffee.

The carvery and food here is excellent. Never disappoints. I would say I love going here much more than any fancy restaurant. Had the venison pie today😋 it was lovely

Gorgeous burger and chips and lovely hot and spicy chicken wings. Lovely grub and good value 😄 the staff are all so nice and accommodating wouldn’t find a nicer place to enjoy a meal . Alex the bar man is a legend and all the staff are next to none

Great establishment. Top-class service. Excellent carvery. Pints of stout are spot-on. Lovely pub. Comfy lounge and a handsome bar.
