Ballymore Inn in Ballymore eustace

Visited as a group of 5 for brunch. Food was amazing and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Great value for money too.

I had read about the Ballymore Inn over the years in various newspaper reviews but never actually got to visit. I went last week with family over from the UK and we wanted a good brunch as we had collected them from a morning flight. The brunch is only a new thing and I hope they keep it. Everyone agreed it was easily the best breakfast they'd ever had. You can taste the quality and care that went into sourcing/baking the food and preparation. Absolutely delicious! I went for Irish breakfast and usually I would avoid it because most places in Ireland do a greasy plate of meat. This was absolutely incredible - no grease, not awful fat - really good quality meat, the most amazing B&W puddings I have ever tasted - an incredible, what tasted like hand made, hash brown, poached egg....plenty of variety and a large portion. Accompanied by amazing treacle brown bread and toasted sourdough. I can't recommend this place enough for brunch/breakfast to be honest. The staff are lovely, it has a very cosy relaxing atmosphere, it's handy to get to from the main roads. Probably a little on the pricey side - but no more so than anywhere else in Ireland at the moment, ...but it is WORLDS apart in terms of good quality - so very much worth it.

Close your eyes and imagine a beautiful inn in a small town in Ireland. That's exactly what this beauty is! Really helpful and knowledgeable staff, amazingly honest ambiance, and absolutely lip smacking food. That lamb shank was life-altering I kid you not. They also have nice (quite spacious) bar area which is separate to the main dining area. So you can have drinks there and come for dinner or vice versa. We went to Blessington Lake for a hike and then drove down for dinner here. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be coming here again whenever I'm in the area.

First time we went to The Ballymore Inn and it won’t be the last. The welcome and service from the moment we stepped in was exemplary. 2 adults and 2 kids and the waitress little detail of bringing the kids food out before ours made our day easier The bread and oils that were brought out were amazing. I need the recipe for the green oil!! We got the Roast Rib of beef and Sea Trout for the mains and the kids got Sausages & chips and Fish & Chips. All were delicious and would highly recommend. I look forward to revisiting.

Super experience. Food was excellent. It was a birthday, and they very kindly came out with a birthday brownie and a candle. The staff were excellent, I can speak highly enough of the manager, so professional, made everyone immediately welcome and contributed hugely to the experience. We go once a month or so, it's definitely on our list for special occasions

Terrific food. Lovely open log fires and service was friendly and efficient. A little gem.

Very reasonably priced lovely breakfast options. The eggs Benedict was perfect. Will definitely be back. The staff were the sweetest as always !

Nice restaurant in Ballymore, After doing the Ballymore loop walk, we popped in for some lunch. We were in the back bar which was fairly quiet. Overall we enjoyed the food and the service.

We ordered take away pizzas last night, not only were the pizzas fantastic, but we also got two boxes of chips and some lovley salads with the pizzas that we weren't expecting. A quick blast in the airfryer for the chips when we got them home and they were lovely and crispy. Looking forward to eating takeaways from there again.
