Myself and my wife recently booked The Back Bar in The Ballymore Inn for the afters of our son's Christening. It was top class from start to finish. Not only was the organisation spot on from Sean but the level of service provided by Cait, Abbie and Aidan on the day was top notch. The finger food just like the food in general in The Ballymore Inn restaurant was excellent and all our guests spoke so highly of their experience on the day. Also a shout out to Paul who usually manages things in the restaurant for popping in to make sure everything was running smoothly. If your looking to book the Back Bar for an upcoming family function, I would highly recommend getting in touch with Sean and the team. You will not be disappointed.
The food is delicious, albeit a bit on the pricier side. Service is immaculate and the vibe is really lovely as well, just very loud making it difficult to have a conversation.
Amazing. Can I give a 10 out of five stars for service please? We arrived with two tired children. Waiter was perfect. Very accommodating. Nothing was a bother. Went over and beyond. I’m actually blown away. Never mind the beautiful food! Party in my mouth. What an absolute gem in a little quiet village. I didn’t think it was possible. I’m in shock. AMAZING. Exceptional. Very attentive. Very genuine care from all the staff. Thank you!!
Visited for brunch and dinner recently with 2x separate groups. The food was delicious and full of flavour on both occasions. I had the avocado on toads with poached eggs for brunch and the wagyu burger for dinner. I couldn’t fault a thing and the service was exceptional, it’s the best around by far.
Nice and clean place with kind staff, but the music is a bit loud. The food is very good, but for the price the portions are very small: a single slice of bread with avocado and salmon for €16.
