Ballyseede Castle Hotel in

Lovely place to stay. Our room was in the west wing which is a newer addition. The room was elegantly decorated and spacious. The bathroom was quite large including the shower. There were many places available to sit and relax. You can also walk to Balleyseede Forest. The breakfast is delicious. There were three kinds of croissants and 3 different kinds of muffins. Everyone we tried was delicious. They also have cured meats, smoked salmon and cheese. You also order a hot dish. There is fruit, yogurt and cereals. It's a wonderful spread. They seem to host a lot of weddings as well, it looks like a beautiful place to have a wedding.

This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed! Everyone working here was delightful, the grounds and rooms were gorgeous, and the food was delicious as well! We loved getting to see the dogs running around the grounds, they were super friendly! Staff was super helpful for any questions we had. The location was great as well- not too far from Ring of Kerry, which is why we wanted to stay in the area, but far enough away that we felt nice and relaxed staying there.

On a recent trip to many European locations, this hotel was my absolute favorite stay. The castle and the grounds are intimately comfortable and well cared for. The staff was amazingly friendly and the food delicious. I would recommend anyone to stay here at least one night, more if you can! The cherry on top are the adorable dogs that live there!

Had a most memorable Birthday lunch today in Ballyseede Castle - it was outstanding. Excellent food, service and all extremely friendly staff - especially Doreen. Five Star.

Going to Ireland we knew we wanted a castle stay and Ballyseede castle was the perfect choice! Stunning castle, we stayed in one of their superior castle rooms and it was absolutely stunning, the room was huge! I was missing a bit fluffier pillows though. The breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh for each guest. To be honest, the real star is their pup Dolan, an absolute sweetheart! We also met their other three dogs but interacted with Dolan the most, he is so sweet! Such a gentle giant. We gave him bellyrubs and played with his duck(we then saw he has several of them - probably chews them up pretty quickly!). I know the staff lives in the shadow of Dolan so i can't write a review without saying how attentive and friendly they are. We absolutely loved the stay and would 1000% book again if in the area!

Beautiful, formal hotel and estate. We had an enjoyable stay on a family trip. We enjoyed having dinner at the hotel as well and were traveling with young kids. The room was beautiful and the details were well cared for. We were there during a large event and didn't feel forgotten or out of place while there which was important to our stay. The kids loved the dogs.
