Ballyseede Castle Hotel in

It's hard to get the balance right between homely castle and luxury Hotel, and as much as Ballyseede tries to do that it ends up with a juxtaposition of the two elements never quite meshing for me I booked for a room in the Castle and was upgraded to a luxurious suite out the back of the complex. It was spacious and elegant and clean, a five star room but it didn't feel like a castle stay. Dinner in the bar was underwhelming, and breakfast was okay, but the service fell short of five star and there is room for improvement. Despite that, the server asked me to go online and give my stay a five star review and to be sure to mention her by name. So four stars it is.

The restaurant, set in a beautiful castle in the suburbs of Tralee, offers delicious food that never disappoints. While there is room for improvement in the quality of their coffee and hot chocolate, the overall experience is elevated by the warm and accommodating staff and the charming atmosphere. It’s a delightful spot we continue to return to, sharing memorable moments with friends and family.

This Has To Be 1 of If Not The Best Hotel I've Ever Stayed In, From The Beautiful Gardens Rooms, The Incredible Food The Amazing Staff & In My Opinion It Has To Be The Best Ever Wedding Venue I've Ever Seen Or Worked In. I Really Enjoy My Stay There For My Daughters Samantha's Wedding. The Staff Made It So Easy & Enjoyable, Nothing Was To Much For Them To Do For All Of Us. Thank You Very Much Ballyseede I Hope To Be Back Again ❤️

My husband and I stayed at Ballyseedy Castle on Sunday 6th October and from the two girls at check in to the lovely lady who Checked us out our stay was wonderful and enjoyable. Beautiful food in the bar and special shout out to Marnie for the fabulous upgrade. Looking forward to returning again shortly

I stayed in the haunted room. TWICE now! I love it. This Is a great castle hotel, and not insanely expensive lìke so many cadtle hotels in Ireland. Be sure to walk the grounds and see all the outdoor art... its a place to enjoy and relax for a day or two. Taxi distance from Tralee train station, so you don't even need a car to stay here. Highly recommend.

Visited the castle for my nieces wedding.what a dreamy place, the room was exquisite,we stayed for four days and we were very welcomed by all the staff who were exceptionally friendly, names to mention, Esther, Vicky in the evening and reception staff,the decor is stunning and you can just wonder round taking it all in. The food was amazing especially the breakfasts, lots of different options, we sampled the full Irish, it was delicious, lots of toast, coffee, juice. The wedding itself was just amazing I just didn’t want it to end. Loved the donkeys and ponies outside and the gardens, couldn’t really fault anything really apart from the wi fi it wouldn’t connect and it was impossible to make a phone call in the bedroom

Beautiful property. I would have loved more vegan options on the menu. After having dinner, we paid the bill with our server, and upon exiting the restaurant, we were chased down by another server who told us we needed to settle the bill before leaving. We tried to explain that we had, but she walked away to get the bill without listening to us. We were made to wait several minutes in the entryway before she came back to confirm that it had been settled. Then, the next day, upon checkout, someone else's dinner had been charged to our room, and we had to deal with that hassle. It seems like a poor system is in place to have so many mistakes in a one evening stay.
