Bar Rua in Dublin

Seafood chowder is incredible. It's just delicious. Very comforting on a cold winter evening. Staff are nice. The selection of IPAs wasn't great. But I was just going by what they offered by their chalkboard. Very impressed by the food though.

Fantastic seafood chowder. A lot of fish inside, just a bit too little bread (I wished there was another little piece, see picture). I didn’t need to put any salt or pepper, it was just perfect.

+++ Lovely beers and efficient service. Very convenient to Grafton Street/shopping area as a daytime stop-off. --- Food was decent - halloumi fries were gorgeous! - but our bigger plates (burger chips/mac and cheese) while tasty, definitely were cooling down already when they got to us. Also, the mac and cheese, while very flavoursome was very skimpy in the cheese! Still a nice stop off though.

From start to finish the Staff at Bar Rua were great to deal with! Good communicate, organized, stress free for me! Big thanks to Eoghan, Connor and the staff! The food platters where served promptly, hot and tasty. Great drink selection and perfect reserved area for our group of 30 odd people. Clean bathroom and most of all a wonderful atmosphere!!! See you soon again!!!!!

On a damp Monday night we we're welcomed and feed well!

Nuestro grupo estaba buscando un lugar para tener una cena ligera con un par de bebidas y eligió este pub. Encontramos una mesa grande que nos sentó a todos los 8 y tenía una camarera muy agradable tomar nuestros pedidos. Mi esposa y yo pedimos desde la sección de entrada del menú. Elegí los mejillones que se sirvieron en una olla con vino blanco, ajo y mantequilla junto con un par de piezas de pan. Estaba bien cocinado y delicioso. Mi esposa tenía el Mac & cheese que era bueno, y nos gustó la selección de cerveza de barril.
