BarBarossa OliverPlunkett Street in Cork

A very nice pub in the heart of Cork. It had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and was clearly popular, with lots of people enjoying meals when we visited. The food looked delicious—generous portions, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. We didn’t eat this time, but it definitely tempted us, and we’ll be sure to try something next time we pass by. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable straight away. Looking forward to returning!

Not to be missed if you want to get an idea of ​​what a pub is like in Ireland. Lots of noise, loud laughter and above all what is striking for a Frenchman almost exclusively on the tables is nothing but beer but not the slightest accompaniment…. An impressive choice of beers…

Stopped in for a late lunch after visiting the English market. 10/10 on every bite. Absolutely wonderful food!

Very good service. We had a share plater between two of us and we were absolutely stuffed. Couldn't fault the place.

I love this pub as it quirky and central. Today we had food and it was poisoned with salt. I couldn't eat it and apparently it has been said by many customers. I wasn't offered a refund although, being honest, I would have refused it as the staff are lovely. I just couldn't possibly eat the food and my heart/BP were giving me grief.

Good burgers, you have to order at the bar, they don't go to the table (mini table) to ask. Except for this, it is a nice place.
