Weve beenin Galway for 2 days, had our hostel nearby and fell in love with this pub IMMEDIATELY ! Awesome people, great live music and the best beers and ciders ♡ Love from germany

Everything about Bar An Chaladh is Top Notch, the owner makes you feel very welcome and at home as do all the staff members, he even gave us our Xmas drinks early😂😂, they don't rip you off with their prices. A group of various musicians 🎸🪕🎻🪘🥁🪗🪈 started off a trad session and they were outstanding as were all the dancers💃🕺 and the craic was mighty. The clean witty signage all over the pub is hilarious. You can always judge a quality pub by the amount of locals that frequent it, and they were there in abundance, you could tell as they were on first name terms with the staff. This pub is class and the banner man runs a great show. We had a long day there on Wednesday 11/09/24 but it was worth the hangover 💊💊😱

Very welcoming and pleasant staff. Comfortable bar - well decorated mixture or quirky and traditonal bar signage. Good choice of pints - the stout is excellent and priced at 5euro, is an absolute dream! Recommend!
