Barrtra Seafood Restaurant in

Had an amazing lunch, the oysters were fresh and the atmosphere very welcoming and friendly. I will dream about the house bread.

The restaurant is very elegant and the service is friendly. The location is pleasant.

I have mixed feelings on Barrtra. The service was excellent, very friendly and knowledgable crew. The sauce the Turbot was served with was extremely delicious, however at 38 Euro at the very least I expected some potatoes or chips, there were no sides with the main which I found to be a bit much, I had to pay for chips and salad so the bill, just for a main before a tip came to 47 Euro, which to me, a bit too steep for me.

Highly recommended, very well-seasoned food with a sophisticated twist, we enjoyed it very much!

A lovely family run restaurant hidden in the country side with the charms of a nice view on the coast and flowery garden to enjoy. The food is absolutely delicious and made with care. Take a small side road from the N67 and you will not be sorry. Irish hospitality at its best.

Fantastic Surprise Menu. Excellent and very enjoyable!

There wasn't a huge amount of fish on the (small) menu. Only one seafood starter and two seafood mains (40e for a main fish dish). Maybe the fishing catch wasn't good that day but I was disappointed. They call themselves a "Seafood Restaurant" so I expected an array of seafood options. The location is gorgeous and the food was good (don't bother with the chips - soggy), but was this worth a "special meal" of over 100e for main courses *only* and no wine... no, in my opinion.

A wonderful find at the end of a tiny bendy road. Highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food. We had the surprise menu 2 meat and 2 fish. The surprise food was delightful. We couldn't find fault with any of the dishes and the staff were lovely and friendly.
