Bear Market Coffee Roasters in Dublin

This was a nice place to stay and work for a couple of hours but I felt the coffee was overpriced for the quality

Usually love the other bear market outlets but twice now I have visited the kilmacud location for an iced coffee to be told they are out of ice. Surprised there is no assertiveness by the staff to buy additional ice in centra next door. Really disappointed for it to happen twice two weeks in a row.

Very good coffee. Unique place located inside a church. They roast their own coffee. Its has a great expresso taste. The service was fast and served in porcelains cups we enjoy. The choice o music dance party style was not my preference, more relaxed tones would be preferred.

We visited Bear Market and ordered a hot white chocolate, a coffee, and one of their mini pistachio croissants. The white hot chocolate wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was quite good. It had a lighter, more liquid consistency—which I personally prefer over the thicker, almost dessert-like versions some places offer. The sweetness was nicely balanced—not too sweet, not bitter—which I appreciated. It felt thoughtfully crafted. As for the mini pistachio croissant, just to reduce ambiguity—it wasn’t really a croissant in the traditional sense. It was more like a pastry inspired by Dubai Chocolate, which gave it a unique character. The taste was quite enjoyable. The atmosphere was lovely—cozy and local, with a calm vibe that wasn’t too noisy. The air conditioning was spot-on, making the space feel very comfortable. One nice touch: they had a coffee roasting machine on-site and mentioned that they roast their beans in-house, from green to ready-to-brew—great for coffee lovers. Prices were fair and in line with what you'd expect. Service was fast and efficient—our order was ready promptly.

To say that the staff are amazing is an understatement..after a journey from mayo having no cash for a taxi and misjudging the journey to stillorgan 🙈 ordered a latte by card. DIARMUID one of the staff helped me out, not only by using his app to get me a taxi and as good as paid in full for me was just so kind. I was so appreciative and could not believe how much he went out of his way to help me. A real gentleman and a truly wonderful young man. Thank you a million times Diarmuid you really got me out of a hole..Hope it comes back tenfold to you. Thank you sp much. Maria

Nice spot and dog friendly, but a little strange that they don't take cash at all.

There is no faulting the coffee, it's lovely. There are some major areas for improvement though, service with a smile would go a long long way. I do often wonder if the staff are happy at all in the Stillorgan branch. From a customers point of view, it certainly doesn't appear so. The addition of a new water fountain in Stillorgan is welcome but it's disheartening to see only plastic cups offered for water - that's more opportunities to dump single use plastic. Maybe offering some glasses would be a small step towards sustainability?
