They no longer have a restaurant. The bar is so friendly and fun. My favorite bar while visiting Ireland. Thank you to the sweet man Jerry for letting me to take his picture. Thank you to Carl for the ideal place to be while visiting from the States. 💕
Really welcoming pub and an interesting history. Base of operations for Kalem studios in the early 1910s. Also have a lot of different kinds of wood with labels around the bar. Just la lot or look at and a lot of history to absorb. To top it all off is the amazing staff who really know how to expertly pour a pint.
Great pub with a large, great quality whiskey selection. Two sides to the bar, a couple TVs and multiple entrances. Plenty of nice people who are friendly. Family run place that has been around for 4+ generations. Definitely nice to sit, relax, and have a drink.
23/09/2023: We came across this pub on a Saturday night where they have live music and immediately afterwards there was the rugby match between Ireland and South Africa (World Cup in France) so the atmosphere was very electrifying. The pub is very nice, friendly staff, good food and a more than honest price. We have sausages and roast of the day on the menu also offers fish and soup of the day. The car park is not very large but there is space in the surrounding streets. I definitely recommend.
