12/03/2025: What an absolute stunning hotel, 4 of us went to the restaurant awards there and we stayed the night, while the hotel and staff are amazing we had 1 issue.... The lift.... Please please please fix the lift it was a nightmare and we were not the only people that had the same problem 😢 other than that 10/10

14/02/2025: The rooms were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and dinner at Oak & Anvil Restaurant, as well as a lovely breakfast at Pippin’. The hydrotherapy area, steam room, and pool provided a relaxing experience. While the booking mentioned a sauna, we were unable to locate one 🤷‍♀️ The luxurious Elemis toiletries were a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, we are rating it 4 out of 5 stars because we found that only some of the staff were welcoming, while others displayed a less friendly attitude. This was surprising, as our past hotel experiences have typically been the opposite—where the accommodations were less impressive, but the hospitality stood out.
