I came in St Patrick's day tried to pinch a 6,8 300 pound man not wearing green he instead tackled me and sent me all the way to the river Thames 😔

Feels like an old man pub but had a face-lift. The clientele had a mixture of old lads, younger folks and a few tourists. It was quite cosy beside a fireplace, they showed live Premier League but not all of the tellies were HD, which is always maddening. Their drink options were fairly limited and basic.

Proper Irish pub… the staff are amazing and the vibe of the place is brilliant. If you want to have great drinks and a good chat with your mates or partner, this is the best place!

05/03/2025: A few visits now and without hesitation, this is the absolute perfect local pub. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, warm and friendly staff, a kitchen that knows what it’s doing…. the 12oz sirloin is to die for … very simply. If you are in the area, go!

04/03/2025: The service, professional friendly staff & John’s expert guidance made for a fab wedding. The food was excellent both the fish & meat. I can’t wait to return for a quieter lunch or dinner! Thank you very much, we loved it & would highly recommend to everyone.
16/02/2025: Really lovely offering. Host was great. Menu was great. Server forgot a few bits but still a lovely experience.
