With a very pleasant atmosphere, it is the ideal place to eat something delicious, especially if you went to Paseo Guinness, the service was spectacular and the food was delicious, highly recommended!

Wonderful main course spaghetti bolagnese and salad. But the cavollat (mix of merengue, vanilla custard, and dark chocolate) was out of this world

Good value and great vibes overall. The food has its highs and lows: sandwiches lose points because the bread is quite dry, and cakes can be the same. Pasta dishes are lovely, and the salads are generally very good, though the Caesar salad croutons are sometimes hard (not fresh on weekends?)rather than soft, and the salad mix changes day to day. Tends to be better during the week. The soup is tasty but the portion is WAY too small.
The coffee is very generic Italian-style, not the smoother, more interesting brew you might find in a hipper café—and you even have to pay extra for a second shot, which is unusual in Ireland. They should consider offering alternative milk options. Occasionally, the restaurant carries a faint smell like after vacuuming, which can be a little off-putting.
What really makes this place shine is the atmosphere. It’s cosy, homely, and wonderfully comforting — a safe haven where you feel genuinely welcomed and aren’t overcharged. It’s even dog-friendly, which adds to the warm, inviting charm. The female staff are consistently lovely and friendly, though the male staff member can feel a bit cold and strictly businesslike. Despite its small flaws, the welcoming vibe and comforting environment keep me coming back. I also am always encouraging people to go! I think you shouldn't keep pushing up the prices and people will keep going.

Let's face it, I mostly come here to eat cake. I am a big fan of the Italian lemonade - not easy to be served non-sweetener, non-corporation lemonades in Dublin. The team is lovely and yes I know the "regular" food is also delicious, but I am excited for the cake all day if I know I'll be going to Bell Pesto.
