I had dinner at One Pico on Saturday evening, and although I had read many outstanding reviews beforehand, the experience still managed to exceed every expectation. I arrived anticipating a memorable meal. I left convinced that One Pico is operating at excellent culinary level.
From the very first amuse-bouche, the steak tartare was superb.
I was fortunate enough to try three different starters, each outstanding in its own right. The Crab was wonderfully fresh and elegant. The Poached Organic Salmon was deeply flavourful, elevated by a fantastic treatment of peas in both whole and velouté form. The Braised Beef Cheek Raviolo was sublime: intensely savoury and executed with real finesse.
As a main course, the Lamb Rump deserves special mention. The cooking was impeccable, beautifully pink, tender, and precise, but what truly impressed me was the extraordinary pairing with the mint foam and the Mediterranean-inspired red peppers. The mint element brought freshness and aromatic lift without overwhelming the dish, while the peppers, cooked to perfection, added sweetness, depth, and an unexpected elegance. It was a sophisticated and brilliantly composed plate.
Desserts maintained the same exceptional standard. The famous Passion Fruit Soufflé fully deserves its reputation: light, aromatic, perfectly risen, and balanced by vibrant acidity. The Chocolate Tart was equally excellent.
There is clearly an excellent level of talent in this kitchen: outstanding produce, skilled execution and precise technique.
Equally deserving of praise is the front-of-house team. The service was polished, warm, attentive, and perfectly paced, exactly the level of hospitality such an impressive kitchen deserves. I must also highlight the excellent recommendations from the sommelier, with great expertise and impeccable manner.
One Pico is, without question, an essential dining destination in Dublin for anyone who truly appreciates exceptional cuisine and refined hospitality. I will absolutely return every time I visit the city.

During my trip to Ireland, I dined at this restaurant in Dublin. I was looking forward to it, as it's a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it far exceeded my expectations.
The four-course dinner was served in a sophisticated yet relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The first two canapés set the mood, and the homemade bread and salty farmhouse butter were delicious.
For appetizers, I enjoyed a refreshing dish of Kilkiel crab and rich beef cheek ravioli. For the main course, I chose lamb and hake, both cooked to perfection with excellent balance of sauces. From the chocolate and almond dacquoise to the passion fruit soufflé for dessert, the entire course was perfectly executed.
Every dish was beautifully presented, and the generous use of vegetables prevented it from becoming too heavy, allowing me to enjoy it to the very end. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or for anyone who appreciates fine dining.

What a pleasure to dine here. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! Suggested a top notch local IPA brew to match the entree. The food was phenomenal and if I lived in Dublin, I would eat there as often as my wallet would allow.

Floor staff are great, however menu is not developed for substance - nothing remarkable especially given the price point. 6EUR for a double espresso was insane price to pay. 98EUR set menu meant they could have at least ironed the table cloths.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming.
The wine was a standout. We initially thought we knew what we wanted, but the staff took the time to really listen to what we were looking for and guided us to an exquisite white wine that suited our taste perfectly. What impressed us most was that they weren’t focused on price points or upselling—they simply aimed to find the right match for us, and they absolutely succeeded. It completely won me over.
Equally impressive was how attentive and accommodating the team was with our dietary needs. My husband avoids flour and sugar, and I’m lactose intolerant, gluten- and wheat-free, and don’t eat meat. The staff handled this with such care and professionalism.
The food itself was excellent. The potatoes were absolutely unforgettable!
Thank you for your great service. We’ll definitely be back.

Loved the whole experience. Great spot to take our teenagers and have them experience a high end meal without the stuffiness that usually comes with exceptional dining. One of the highlights of our Ireland trip.

We had to order the fish as they were out of what we wanted, which honestly I don't mind as tends to mean the food is bought in fresh daily.
The fish was honestly fantastic and we were glad we had it.
The restrant is nice a little loud but if you like a little atmosphere this won't be a bother.
Very happy to recommend the price is very reasonable for the little touches and the quality.
