Bresson in Dublin

My favourite restaurant in Dublin - always amazing food, great service and cozy atmosphere! Their signature dish, the scallops, are delicious!

Used to come here regularly and always enjoyed it, but went with some friends last night and the food was very disappointing. We all ordered steak frites for the main and we all only managed to eat some of it - the quality of the meat was not great for the price. Hopefully, it was a one-off drop in quality.

For mains we had the beef bourguignon and lobster egg royale. The beef itself was dry and tedious to get through, however everything else on the plate was excellently cooked and presented. The lobster with poached eggs was drowning in sauce and red peppers and the bagel it rested on was hard/stale and did nothing for the dish, I'd recommend they rest it in a soft brioche bun. However the soup du jour and creme brulee were great. Service was pretty slow too but they did have a big party in the restaurant, so can't fault them.

A restaurant that has charm and offers good food at a price that won't break the bank. The scallops are excellent, so give them a try. I had the hake and enjoyed every morsel. A goo d wine list is available, and the prices are manageable. If you're looking to treat yourself and significant others, this restaurant fits the bill.

We booked for our xmas dinner and couldn't be better choice. it was beyond expectation. Food, service and atmosphere 5 star.

Such a lovely place to celebration special occasions✨ we had a beautiful night with great food & wine at Bresson. Staff were kind and very attentive.

Great food in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere

Nous sommes allés chez Bresson pour un déjeuner un vendredi. Le restaurant est très cosy et agréable. Notre déjeuner était fin. La formule du midi vaut vraiment le coup. Par contre le service était très gentil mais un peu negligeant : nos verres de vin ont été oubliés, on a dû demander de l'eau et réclamer les mignardises qui sont arrivés après le café.
