BellaVista Hotel in Cobh

Great place to stay, food very good, staff very helpful and friendly, the location is perfect in walking distance to the town.

Vincent and Louise were SO helpful!!! They communicated so quickly with me when I needed to upgrade our room so that we had additional space. Louise took us through the unit upon checkin and showed us all the important features. We truly felt valued and welcomed!! Keep in mind that if you are coming from the train station, you must walk up a steep hill! You may want to get a taxi if you’re disabled or have issues with stairs/hills. There is a restaurant on site but we didn’t get a chance to dine there for dinner. We did go for breakfast though and just ate from the small buffet which had a variety of fruits, cereals, yogurt, and juices. We were also provided with buttered toast, coffee, and tea for the table. The hotel is within walking distance to the cathedral, the colored houses, and the Cobh city center. To access the city center you have to take a set of stairs down and up, but there is an abundance of taxis around which will get you to and from the hotel. I would 1000000% stay with Bella Vista again!

The location here is prime. Especially for the price. The staff were super friendly, but holy moly was the bed the most uncomfortable bed I slept on. I’m pretty sure it was just a box spring lol also the pictures online aren’t updated because our room was definitely more modern and it was huuuge.

Exceptional, flawless hotel, Kevin and Cary are amazing hosts..the barstaff,breakfast staff, reception wow wow....

This hotel is located on a hill which having magnificent views of seas and cathedral. Services are very good. And the staff is really friendly and helpful .

The Bella Vista hotel is a decently nice hotel stay with a nice view of the water and local cathedral. The one critique I would give the hotel is that when it's open the whole hotel tends to smell a bit like the Chinese restaurant at the location which I think would benefit from a restaurant door to keep things contained. The service here is great with very friendly people. The location does not have an elevator which is probably due to the age of the hotel, but they were very quick to offer to carry our luggage upstairs for us & did so. The hotel bar is very nice & while smaller than some elsewhere, we really enjoyed the little "outcove" room as it felt very quaint and nice while having a pint! The location as mentioned does give a great view, but the walkability may seem a bit much as the hills are very steep and going into town is easy downhill you will have to go back up hill. It's not impossible and if you take your time it's a nice stroll with nice views we found. The hotel does not have air conditioning which may be a bit much for some, but in November we were able to open up the windows on the high floor we were on and get some nice cool air overnight so it wasn't really an issue for us.

LOVED staying here!! They offer laundry services which was perfect because we packed light for our trip. The man working at the front desk was so nice and gave us so many great suggestions for our short time in Cobh. The location was perfect to walk to a local pub and breakfast the next morning was fabulous. Our room was modern and clean, zero complaints!

Pekné, čisté a vkusne zariadené izby, jediné čo chýbalo bola chladnička na izbe. Krásny výhľad na more, katedrálu. Ochotný personál, chutná kuchyňa.
