Good food and very tasty fish n chips

Good fish and chips,but only in the context of Irish chippers. Irish chippers tend to have heavier, thicker, batter than those I grew up with in England, and I'm not a huge fan of that. The cod was nice, batter crispy and not too heavy, but not as good as Feeley's in Carlingford. The chips were actually slightly better, a little bit firmer, but portion size was smaller. The comparison is worthwhile, because they are both among the best chippers I've come across in Ireland, and both are a bit more expensive than the average. Don't take the atmosphere rating too seriously though, it's an open fronted Chipper with a counter and two serving staff; atmosphere isn't really something you should expect.

Good fish and chips. Watch out for the seagulls outside, they are already preying on your fish and chips when you are ordering and walking outside. 🦅

Cooked fresh, haddock was nice, big chunks of flaky fish in a crisp batter, chips were ok, bit thick and quite dry, I am never a fan of staff putting the salt and vinegar on, it barely touched the food and I like mine covered. Prices compared to my local back in England.

I tried both the Calamari and Chips as well as the Dish and Chips. They were both great service was kind of slow when it was empty but it was worth the wait.

En Beshoff Bros de Howth pedimos un filete de bacalao rebozado con patatas y nos gustó, el sabor limpio y la cantidad abundante casi para 2 personas por 15€. También pedimos calamares por 14€ y estaban bien Sin embargo dos días después fuimos su tienda de 5 Vernon Avenue y la hamburguesa de pescado no nos gustó el sabor del pan.

As always, the best fish and chips in Dublin. Fantastic value, fresh and piping hot. We treat ourselves every few weeks and are never disappointed.
