Beshoffs of Howth in Dublin

The food was fantastic and service was top notch. I can’t wait to go back. Probably the best fish and chips, top 5 I have had, maybe the best! Oyster was fresh and amazing. I highly recommend and it probably one of the top 20 places I have ever eat in the world!!! Can’t say enough!

The seals bit my eyes, I recommend wearing goggles.

I ordered a coffee, which had an excellent aroma and a fantastic taste. However, the cashier was not friendly; while I was paying, she abruptly asked, ‘When are we closing? Are we closing?’ It made me feel unwelcome. As much as I enjoyed the coffee, the lack of warmth in the service would make me hesitant to return.

Excellent food. We recommend the oysters and grilled octopus. It was the best and most tender I've ever eaten. Orders are not taken at the table and the place could use more staff to clear the table more quickly, but the staff are nevertheless friendly and attentive. We would happily return.

Lunch on Howth harbor in this restaurant which seems to be a local institution. On the menu, fish of course. The service is efficient. The dishes are delicious, generously served and smell homemade. It’s really very good! All the dishes we had were excellent, including the fish and chips which tasted like real fresh fish. In short, a very good experience.

Les plats sont délicieux, servis généreusement et qui sentent le fait maison. C’est vraiment très bon ! Tous les plats que nous avions pris étaient excellents, y compris le fish and chips qui avait un vrai goût de poisson frais. Bref, une très bonne expérience.

Thank you, Denise, for your wonderful service. Initially, there was a bit of confusion about whether we could get a light meal but your colleague in the restaurant brought us right around to you!
