Beshoffs of Howth in Dublin

Cozy modern restaurant with a view of the harbor. Wide variety of fresh seafood dishes to pick from. We tried the smoked salmon and the tasty and savory traditional fish and chips which were cooked to indulgent perfection. We also ordered the fish pie which was delicious and perfect for the cold day we experience.

Nice atmosphere and staff, food is fine (nothing spectacular - just seafood) Many dishes on the day in question were not available (fish pie, chicken), gave us a dish with dressing when we specifically asked it for it to be without. They gave us an expired coke - bartender was shocked, and we didn’t have to pay for the coke, but it left a sour taste in our mouth; figuratively and literally. For a €90 lunch for two people, I’d expect better.

Very good service. We had lunch there and all of us chose the Clam Chowder. It was good, although I personally would prefer a cream base rather than a tomato base for the soup. But otherwise, it was very good and tasty, with plenty of fresh fish. Service was excellent. Dew

Déjeuner sur le port de Howth dans ce restaurant qui semble être une institution locale. À la carte, du poisson évidemment. Le service est efficace. Les plats sont délicieux, servis généreusement et qui sentent le fait maison. C’est vraiment très bon ! Tous les plats que nous avions pris étaient excellents, y compris le fish and chips qui avait un vrai goût de poisson frais. Bref, une très bonne expérience.

Restaurante donde el pescado es el protagonista principal, si bien también sirven hamburguesas y algún otro plato de carne. Comimos un pastel de pescado muy bien elaborado y saciante, acompañado de un excelente pan irlandés. De postre, un helado muy bueno. Servicio eficaz y simpático. El local es bonito y bien ubicado delante del puerto de Howth.
