I am used to good Guinness from the best Guinness pubs in Dublin but the Guinness here is absolutely 10/10 and staff are super friendly. A must if in Athlone.

Brilliant pub, great service and great atmosphere. Special mention to Chris, makes everyone feel welcome. All drinks are fairly priced, no better place in Athlone, if you’re a local or just visiting.

21/07/2026: Quiet when we were there, but it seems a nice pub for a pint t where you are able to chat. Not sure if food is served, so I can't comment on that.
