Bistrot 1798 in Castlebar legal

Had lunch here lovely atmosphere staff are sound food is very nice I had the steak sandwich very tasty only complaint id have is the portion size could have been bigger, but then again im a hungry horse

Cosy little restaurant in the heart of Castlebar. Wasn't busy on this particular night, but I'd imagine it was because it was mid week. The food was great and the service by Marzena wonderful.

We visited Castlebar and went to Bistrot 1798 on recommendation. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, generous portions for moderate price. The waitress was very helpful, professional, and friendly. This is a small place but with great character. Really recommend trying to visit this boutique restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere.
