Blake's Bar in Galway

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast prior to a trip. The older gentleman behind the bar was absolutely wonderful. He was engaging, funny and at times I bit humorous with stern suggestions that were spot on. The mini breakfast was still filling and the tea here was perfect. The atmosphere here was great for visitors and we felt at home in no time. Before leaving the older gentleman asked what our plans were and offered advice on which route to take on our trip to better see Ireland and what it offers. This advice did not disappoint and ended up being one of our favorite experiences on our trip.

Had a family birthday meal. Staff were friendly but pre theatre menu is only available until 7 but we weren't told. Menu is slightly limited. We brought a birthday cake and were advised they could serve it but we couldn't eat it on the premises. After some discussion they did allow us to eat the cake. Nice restaurant but some logistical issues. Food was lovely

Food from The Brasserie on the Corner was very good. Cold Guinness. What's not to like?

Best seafood chowder I have ever had!!

Stopped in for lunch. Good food, good service. The local mussels are the star of the show.

The food was great. Even though the wine was quite expensive, still one of the best Galway restaurants. Reservation is mandatory !

Had such a lovely experience here today! The food was absolutely fabulous , and the staff were just as amazing, friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to the lovely man who greeted us when we arrived ( who’s name I didn’t get ). When he found out it was my birthday, he surprised me with a dessert that had "Happy Birthday" written on it. It was such a thoughtful gesture and very much made my day. It's the little things like that which make a place memorable. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, not just for the great food, but for the atmosphere and genuinely kind staff here !

This restaurant is a must! I set out to have fish and chips in every city we visited on our UK vacation. This was the fifth restaurant I ordered it and it was by far the best! Perfect cooked and a large portion. My wife had the salmon and said it was spectacular. For dessert we had a tart made of Biscoff shortbread cookies and it was amazing. It is a very relaxing environment and the wait staff is very friendly. Definitely a must visit!

Wonderful staff especially Ulick. Tasty food and kind servers. Brilliant place....
