We came here for dinner. The food was very good; we ordered the catch of the day and roast beef. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was lovely, and there was live music.

Went on a Tuesday night, had fish and chips and cod. Food was pretty good, but not special. A fiddle guitar duo did trad and folk songs, and had a dancer. Music was really good, and the venue was very comfortable. More like a concert venue than a pub scene.

We booked here as there was going to be live music. The food was fine - nothing to sing home about. The service was good. We thought the music was going to have a more ‘Irish’ theme to it but it didn’t and when the singer asked the audience if they had any requests, the majority of the songs he didn’t know or said he didn’t like them. Not the best of evenings!

Great ambiance, cozy seating, good food, good service, and sometimes they have dancers or musicians. I'd love to come back, still has a lasting memory for me!

Delicious fish and crunchy chips. Portion was rather small. Delightful waitress saw a fly land in my drink so she whipped it away and gave me a fresh pint of delicious Kinsale pale ale.

The Indian dishes were delicious. The service from Agata was excellent.

We went in on a whim for lunch and weren't disappointed. It's a very nice building with a small courtyard out front for smokers. We hat the fish and chips which were really good and crispy. We then took a cappuccino outside which was also really well made! The service was friendly and quick. If you're in kinsale and looking for a nicer but still not super expensive place to just sit and enjoy some food, I highly recommend the blue haven! They also do life music in the evenings!
