Blue Haven Restaurant in Kinsale

I was there for a birthday party, and we ate dinner, dessert, and a drink. We really liked delicious the 24-hour roasted beef, and the mushroom tart appetizer was equally delicious. The cocktail was authentic and tasty, not fake like in other places. The atmosphere, music, cleanliness, and friendly staff are all great. You can tell that the entire staff takes good care of this place. I'll definitely be back. I recommend it.

Dropped in over a very busy lunchtime. Just had soup and a pint of Guinness. Soup was hot,delicious and came with brown bread and butter. Guinness was only mediocre and was served in a 00 glass. Overall a pleasant experience and their seafood menu is very impressive.

Delicious mains and lovely service. Live music was a really nice bonus. Desserts let them down but overall a delicious and memorable meal!

Popular kinsale bar and restaurant with good menu and food selection

Went on a Tuesday night, had fish and chips and cod. Food was pretty good, but not special. A fiddle guitar duo did trad and folk songs, and had a dancer. Music was really good, and the venue was very comfortable. More like a concert venue than a pub scene.

We came here for dinner. The food was very good; we ordered the catch of the day and roast beef. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was lovely, and there was live music.

Great ambiance, cozy seating, good food, good service, and sometimes they have dancers or musicians. I'd love to come back, still has a lasting memory for me!

We booked here as there was going to be live music. The food was fine - nothing to sing home about. The service was good. We thought the music was going to have a more ‘Irish’ theme to it but it didn’t and when the singer asked the audience if they had any requests, the majority of the songs he didn’t know or said he didn’t like them. Not the best of evenings!

Very average. Wouldn't be rushing back.
