Blue Haven Restaurant in Kinsale

Great restaurant. Delicious food. Friendly service.

We went for lunch. Bustling (mostly seniors out for a light lunch). Sandwich was OK, nothing I would order again. The soup was nice. Service was great, can't fault that at all.

Can't comment on the food. We just popped in for a drink and to listen to some live music. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and entertainment

Went here for lunch while driving through Kinsale. Their gluten free fish and chips were delicious and the chowder was the best I've ever had. Great restaurant for people with Celiac.

Seafood is the centre of the Blue Haven's menu and it is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. You're told on the menu that you may have to wait for your food as it is prepared to order. And yes, you will have to wait. But it's worth it! Delicious food takes time, and you won't be disappointed here. If you're lactose intolerant, it limits your choices a bit, but still delicious food awaits. Just no dessert as milk, and cream are the kitchen's go to ingredients.

We had brazed beef, and it was excellent 👌 Little bit pricey, but it was really good, and yes, I would have it again .
