Blue Haven Restaurant in Kinsale

Superb Indian food as part of the Restaurant Week pop up restaurant. The biryani was to die for as was the fish dish. It was followed by a beautiful cheesecake. We absolutely love the regular menu at the Blue Haven, and the atmosphere is always so nice for a drink. But the Indian Pop Up took things to the next level for us.

Always a good standby when visiting Kinsale

The meals were very good, but unfortunately many of the dishes on the menu were unavailable.

I was there for a birthday party, and we ate dinner, dessert, and a drink. We really liked delicious the 24-hour roasted beef, and the mushroom tart appetizer was equally delicious. The cocktail was authentic and tasty, not fake like in other places. The atmosphere, music, cleanliness, and friendly staff are all great. You can tell that the entire staff takes good care of this place. I'll definitely be back. I recommend it.

Dropped in over a very busy lunchtime. Just had soup and a pint of Guinness. Soup was hot,delicious and came with brown bread and butter. Guinness was only mediocre and was served in a 00 glass. Overall a pleasant experience and their seafood menu is very impressive.
