Blue Leaf Restaurant in Bundoran

This was an unbelievably very good restaurant. Heading into winter on the West Coast of Ireland, the food, the service, and the atmosphere including the playlist was simply sublime. I’m not being paid to write this review, but it was probably one of the best meals I have eaten out in a very long time. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour; from the steak to the asparagus to the potatoes, bread and peppercorn sauce I don’t think I have tasted better.

Great place with romantic ambience, lovely food, huge portions, and kind waitresses. This place is a hidden gem of Bundoran. The surf and turf steak was so juicy and the garlic butter was a great addition to the steak. Prawns were well balanced and not overpowered by the spices. Junior loved the pasta and we devoured the deserts. They were spot on! All in all, I'd give it 95/100 and that's just because they have no draught beer. Dinner for 3 with desserts and drinks cost around €140 but unlike other similar establishments, it's a money well spent with no regrets. Well done Blue Leaf, you have made our day (or evening)!

If you have any intolerance this is the place for you. The food is 100% fresh and they adapt every dish to suit your dietary needs, removing any ingredient you may not tolerate. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

we visited the blue leaf earlier this week. we did not prebook as we were walking up the street and liked the look of the menu. The staff are very polite and curteous we both did the earlybird menu and picked from the kids menu for the kids. The food was lovely. I had the parmesan crusted chicken which was well cooked and delicious. Husband did the fish and chips which he found no fault with. Kids ate their mains and staff gave them some crayons and colouring in books to keep them busy. We got excellent value for money. There are very few places left in ireland where you could feed a family of 4 for 70 euro. We would defnitely return if we are in the area again.

Easily one of the best steaks I had in my life. Service also great, fast and friendly. 5 stars all around

Blue leaf definitely delivers every time. My partner and I go here fairly regularly. Food always the same great standard, and plenty of it, and the staff are on the ball and so friendly and welcoming.

We would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great size portions, tasty food and good customer service impressed us all. I had the seafood linguine, which was in a delicious tomato sauce, however the fried fish that was on the dish I felt was out of place. The surf and turf dish was one that we hadn't seen before, as was steak with seafood in a white sauce, but was delicious. The mussels and fisherman's platter were gorgeous.

It was wonderful, my fillet steak was cooked to perfection
