The food here is really good. A very good breakfast with lovely roasted potatoes. Had lunch once really good homemade food. Very friendly staff.

For 10€ the portion was much larger than expected. It was nice to have a vegan option clearly labeled. I enjoyed the spice level.

100% the best cafe in the whole of Donegal ! food was great and tasty and they kept on topping up my coffee (good coffee too !) which is the kind of service you just dont get elsewhere. They even welcomed in our Two dogs inside which is rare in ireland and Totally "P"awesome ! Staff so attentive and switched on and credit ! a must visit....

My Cajun chicken wrap with salad and chips was outstanding. Service was efficient and friendly plus they have some outdoor seating in the main Donegal square.

Harbour Restaurant

12/04/2025: Booked a table easily online here during our stay in Donegal. My husband and I shared the spiced king prawn starter, he had the hot n spicy pizza and I had the harbour fishcakes with a side of onion rings and they were delicious and very filling! We were seated and served very quickly by friendly and welcoming staff. I would highly recommend coming here to eat if you're ever in Donegal.
11/04/2025: Visited Donegal last week and had a fantastic dinner at The Harbour. We unknowingly arrived on a holiday (Mother's day!) and they fit in our group of 5 even though they were booked up with reservations. Our waiter Cahir was exceptional, patient and very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and allergies. Food and atmosphere was phenomenal, and it was a lovely welcome to Donegal. Would highly recommend!!
