A charming and cozy café! A café/restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing coffee or tea break, offering delicious sweet and savory treats. It's also ideal for lunch in the lovely first-floor dining room, featuring warm colors, Irish-style furnishings, and numerous paintings and works (for sale) by local artists. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly!

Amazing food in the heart of Donegal. Delighted to see so many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. We had the vegan brunch and the pancakes with berry compote and mascarpone. The vegan brunch was exceptional. Amazing flavours and a hearty portion. I asked to swap one of the items for another and this was no problem at all. The pancakes were some of the best we have had. So soft and fluffy and the waitress offered us maple syrup and Nutella as add ons. It was brilliant to see a range of Palestine drinks on offer as well. We had a Palestine Cola and Orange. The staff were lovely and although busy at times were always professional. The bill was very reasonable for three drinks and two meals. We were so glad to have stopped here on our trip and would be delighted to do so again the future.

Simple Simon's is a fantastic spot right in the heart of The Diamond in Donegal Town 📍. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a sweet treat, this place has something for everyone. On my visit, I ordered the chicken burger with chips and a cappuccino, and everything was fresh, tasty, and well presented 🍔🍟☕. The portion size was generous and the coffee was excellent. One thing I really liked is that they have a separate deli section with plenty of freshly prepared options, alongside a huge variety of craft beers, spirits. It's a great place to browse if you're looking for something a little different. The café offers both upper and lower deck seating areas, giving plenty of space and a nice atmosphere whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a meal 🪑✨. Their pastries are some of the best in town 🥐😍, but be warned, they sell out quite early because they're so popular! The only thing to note is that there is no dedicated parking directly outside, but there is a paid parking lot nearby which is only a short walk away 🚗. Friendly staff, great food, excellent coffee, amazing pastries, and a central location make Simple Simon's an easy recommendation whenever you're in Donegal Town. 👍😊

Delicious Seafood chowder, BLT & CLTs. Lovely staff and great service.

Its cool to look inside and look at the food options. But everything is expensive. Even simple sandwiches will run you over €12. In the food display cases the prices aren't listed. There are vegan options though

A superb discovery: this charming little restaurant on the second floor. Excellent service, incredibly comforting food. A must-try.
