Went for dinner on a random Tuesday night not expecting much. The place was buzzing with people which is a great sign. We had meatballs to start with some bruschetta…both stunning. Then for mains we had pizza and a ragu. I’m a big pizza snob and I have to say it was stunning. It was kind of New York style thin base I was shocked when I got the bill because it was so reasonably priced so overall very happy. Also, the service was impeccable as well.

food was great. let down by the atmosphere was absolutely steaming hot in the back. front of the restaurant with the folding doors looked much more inviting and comfortable. few glasses of water were dropped down one of my cousins.

The food is very good. It is a very popular place. Service was fine until we asked for the bill and a box for the pizza. The waitress seemed to be far more interested in flirting with her colleague, down at the back. I had to go looking for her. She interrupted their chat and we returned to the counter. “There's the box”, she informed me as she plonked it down on the counter. It was clear that I was responsible for boxing the pizza.

Ordered the tomato & basil bruschetta for starters & the hake with Italian roast vegetables & spiced cannelloni beans. The starters was tasty but when my main course came it had no spiced cannelloni beans. I pointed this out to the waiter who went to enquire and returned to tell me that unfortunately they had no cannelloni beans. I was offered more vegetables which I didn't want & as a result the meal felt monotonous.

02/01/2026: The food was fantastic!!! The setting was so creative and cozy, perfect atmosphere for some warm, delicious food. Highly recommend coming here if you want a good feed in a lovely, homey restaurant.

31/12/2025: Very impressed with this bar and restaurant. Was really busy - the waitress was very helpful and got us a great table - we ordered food from a great menu and it arrived quickly. We had the smoked salmon and chips and it was delicious and a good size portion. A great experience and will be back.
29/12/2025: Really liked this place, food and drinks were very good. Staff were extremely police and attentive. I have been back here several times. Some constructive criticism however; the beef burger is only okay. It would be much better with a burger sauce of some kind. It has a slice of tomato, a gherkin, some cheese and lettuce, but no sauce on the bun at all plus the patty itself is overcooked so is dry inside, resulting in a flavourless dry burger. As a staple of their menu, I'd expect more thought put into it. An easy fix to make customers happy, so I hope this is heard.
