Boojum in Galway

I love the flavours from the food here its great and so filling too. Its reasonably priced also.

Food is quite cold, the burrito isn’t toasted in the end

I have only visited Boojum Galway once, but it seriously left a mark (and a very happy food coma). I went for the rice bowl, all the flavour and none of the tortilla nap! It was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, big portions, and just the right kick. The staff were super friendly and made everything easy, even for a first-timer like me. If you're in Galway and even slightly hungry, Boojum should be on your list. I’ll definitely be back when I’m next in town, might even graduate to a burrito next time 😄

The food was okay, nothing special. The pulled beef was spicy, the cheese sauce and guacamole were boring. The portion size for a bowl was too small. Extra sauces cost a hefty surcharge. The atmosphere is loud and very uncomfortable, like a fast food restaurant.

Food was amazing, lovely environment. The staff in particular were absolutely lovely. One staff member in particular Annemarie was so helpful and sweet. She told us some places to go and visit in Galway and gave us a burrito of her choice and it was delicious! If I come back to Galway I will definitely be coming back!!

Food was great, as always. Never a single complaint about the food. Ingredients are fresh, tasty and reasonably priced…. somewhat…. Was very happy with my burrito. Staff were nice too, an no major complaints. Several things however bring this down. 1. They have gone cashless it seems, and I’m aware it happened a long time ago, but it just seems a bit mad, in a country where cash is legal tender, they refuse to take it. Granted they warn you before you order, but still, that doesn’t make up for it. 2. The place itself was in a tip. I didn’t visit at an overly busy time. There was no queue and maybe 2 other groups of people in the whole seating area, but yet they had no plates to give me. There was no additional sauces, the tables were full of left over food, dirt, spilt drinks and sauces. Little bit crazy to be fair as there was 4 staff behind the counter. One was told to go and clean and rushed out. I didn’t say a thing. I guess they noticed it eventually, or got bored of the chats.

Cheap burritos They're always fresh ingredients

Food is delicious, but staff aren't very friendly and there seems to be a high turn-over. Toilets are consistently gross. I don't like to eat in here as music is usually too loud and seating isn't comfortable or accessible. Online orders are prepared ahead of queuing customers without acknowledgement, and delivery drivers and crowd the till area. Also, online orders seem to be prepared without care! But the food is really delicious...
