Boojum in Cork

I have been here quite often and every time I had a good experience, the people working there are nice too.

Portions are massive compared to the other Mexican spots in cork. Definitely worth the money and you won't be hungry after. 🌯 I recommend the birria beef.

The burritos were actually quite small in comparison with other Boojum shops. I asked for tissue and there was none and couldn’t understand, 3 people looking at me like 😳😳😳lol do they no speak English in cork?

The food was excellent, but they are really stingy with the ingredients even after asking for more and the toilets are horrible.

My go-to combo is a bowl of Mexican rice, the shredded pork, white beans and all the free stuff - and it's so much value for money! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the place is always clean and well maintained. Just the perfect treat after 2 hours of non stop badminton!

As a Mexican, I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic the food tasted. The dishes had a very traditional Mexican flavor, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be coming back!

Usually very quick service, but around 8pm on a Friday (5th June 2026) service was very slow. Queue was building up, but the manager was taking temperature of food and not helping other staff. It took us 20 mins to order and then another 2 mins waiting at the till as the person assigned there went on break and the manager has gone to the back. Thankfully the person in charge of deliveries noticed and jumped on the till. Very disappointing service but food is good as always. Hope this gets sorted out.
