BóTOWN in Galway

Bad experience. I was excited to try some unique things here. The vegetarian mushroom burger was recommended by a friend, but there were none available when we visited. The alternative falafel burger was dry and cold, and while I appreciate having vegetarian options, I would not buy again. I tried bovril chips, which were a generous portion covered in gravy and pork shavings, but intolerably salty so I could only eat half, would not buy again. The honeycomb and marshmallow milkshake contained no honeycomb, and grated marshmallow that clogged the straw, would not buy again. And finally we were overcharged by €11. The ambience was nice, it's good that there were sauces on the table, and I liked receiving sweets instead of a mint afterwards, but I'm not planning to return to find out if their other menu items are better.

Really tasty burger & mac ‘n’ cheese. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff as well, and they gave me a little tub of sweets to take away when I left, which I thought was a nice touch.

good quality food and reasonable prices; fresh beers and super nice staff. They gifted me a wee cup of gummy candies before a I got the check :)

Good Mushroom burger and cauliflower wings!

We often get take outs from BoTown. We are big fans of their burgers, chips and milkshakes! But most recently, I got in touch with one of the owners, David, to ask if he would do food for 40 people for the day two of our wedding. He couldnt have been more helpful and his communication was excellent. He couldn't do enough for us and took into consideration different dietary requirements- vegetarian and gluten free. They hand delivered the food to O Connor's pub in Salthill, where we were holding our evening (again, another amazing venue) and were so professional. The food was delicious, everybody was very happy with all the different platters- sliders, wings, onion rings, chips and dips! I would highly recommend BoTown and thank you so much again for making everything so easy for us!

Such an amazing food with very kind service from Lainey! They even gave us a small pack of jelly and the burger was amazing of course :)

One of the best places we have to while visiting Ireland. Our waiter was exceptional, and the food was outstanding! Highly recommend!
