Brandon Hotel Conference and Leisure Centre in Tralee

Check in was OK if the parking situation was more defined things would be easier. Went for a meal in the bar waited at "Please wait to be Seated " sign for 10 minutes no one arrived. I walked up to a young lady and said I would like a table please for my family DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION? WAS THE QUESTION ABRUPTLY MAY I ADD ... The bar was completely empty. A reservation I replied? I'm staying at the hotel if its a problem I will go elsewhere? No please sit menus given. The attitude was lazy ignorant and absolutely appalling . Don't know the name but a young lady with glasses with absolutely no manners whatsoever . I have worked in the industry for over 25 years and by god this was shocking. It was like we were a burden, I overheard her speak to a regular customer apparently and some colleague was late for their shift so this was the attitude????? Management what the actual hell this is madness. We paid a fortune to stay we expect at least a but of respect. Investigate your staff absolutely appalling

The hotel is in a central part of the city, has excellent staff, the dinner food is good but the breakfast is poor, the rooms are large but old-fashioned and has a very good bar.

Short walk to the centre. Comfortable rooms. Good service. Yes the prices are higher at Rose time which is part of the rip off Irish approach to hospitality. But it's a good hotel.

At one point this must have been a very nice hotel. They cater primarily to Big groups from all over the EU. There is no air conditioning in the rooms therefore if you are there during the warmer period of the Year such as August expect the rooms to be quite warm and stuffy especially after taking a shower. The ownership needs to make an investment in updating this place as the carpets are worn the mattresses are thin and there is no ventilation to speak of. We requested a fan which they provided us and that provided at least a little bit of air in the room. The breakfast is a group of fair where each of the different buses were assigned specific tables and the minimum was provided such as Irish sausage baked beans overcooked bacon and fruit out of a can. Unfortunately we were part of a large group which also included dinner which was also a minimum affair. Most of their help other than the front desk spoke little English.

Very modern and clean hotel. The bed was super comfortable.

We were able to check in early as our room was ready when we arrived. Staff on reception were very friendly.

Nice hotel, good location, good parking and facilities. The rooms were clean, and warm.

Great hotel friendly staff and onsite parking at the rear. Near to shops such as restaurants, boots and Tesco. Hotel also had a bar restaurant with lovely food and if you fancy a workout or swim you can use the leisure facilities also on site.
