Always a pleasant experience. Staff are very welcoming and show genuine care towards their guests. The spa is beautiful and a nice way to escape the toll of every day life.

Third time here with family on December 30th. Service was lacking this time around unfortunately and we waited over 20 minutes for kids deserts, would be understandable if the bar area was busy but it wasnt compared to the night before. No apology or explanation offered when it eventually arrived after enquiring with staff.

Stayed for a weekend spa trip. Every single one of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The spa is lovely, and so is the food.

Lovely hotel, definitely family resort. Kids loved swimming pool and daily kidos activities. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Including omelette or waffles. Staff supper friendly. We dined in the Library Bar on 2 nights and the food was delicious. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The Cracked Teapot

22/10/2025: We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly. We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice. It will be a while before we might give this place another go. The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review.

28/10/2025: Quite a good selection. Nice cafe upstairs. Some limits: they only have SAE 30; one generator they sell wants SAE 10W30 oil (found it at Ferns Engineering). Chainsaw files, yes; replacement chains, no. Good range of power tools.
12/10/2025: Great spot for all your DIY and paint needs, the garden centre is also great here. Cafe shop is great too. Plenty of parking outside and also has a delivery service too. Staff are great here and very knowledgeable. There are also very friendly and helpful. This is a one stop shop for all your needs. I would highly recommend 👌. Also have santa here during the Christmas period. Deffo worth dropping in. 5 stats all day.
