Brass Bar & Grill in Dublin

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at your property. The highlights of our stay included: 1. Room 178 — We looked forward to sipping tea while taking in the view of the sea.The air conditioning unit in this room worked. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have extra pillows. 2. Dining — Another of our favorite thing to do was to order breakfast and enjoy it at your Brass bar and cafe. The delicious fruit scones warmed to perfection, the perfectly done scrambled eggs, and the best tea on the planet. The sourdough toasts were also amazing. 3. Staff — We had the pleasure of meeting and engaging with many of your staff members. The ladies at the front desk — Maneesha and Anu, the servers at the Bar — Anna and Raquel were a delight. The young man who served us on the Sept 1st was equally terrific. They are so polite, courteous, and sweet. 4. Location — The location is terrific, especially the bus stop right next to the hotel and across the road.

We stayed at this hotel for a week with our family, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the bed was especially comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of options to choose from. My only observation is that the hotel does not provide luggage carts. The distance from the reception to the rooms can be quite long, so having luggage carts available would make the experience much more convenient for guests, especially families with several bags. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

Our room was excellent. Comfortable, and very well serviced each day. Breakfast was a good start to the day. Friendly and helpful service, a good selection of dishes and tasty food. The team on reception were welcoming and helpful with loca information. This made our visit much easier, as we rely on public transport and taxis to get around. We were visiting relatives, but our stay at the Talbot felt more like a holiday. We are in the process of arranging our pre Christmas visit and you will be our first choice for the stay. Thank you.

Lovely hotel with ample parking and facilities. Great food and drink offerings on site. Some improvements could be made to the consistency of housekeeping (shower gel left empty for 2 days, despite detaching it from the wall and leaving it in a prominent place; loo roll and tea/coffee not replenished on one day). Would stay here again for a Dublin trip.

Very nice restaurant, so close to Stillorgan. Plenty of free parking and staff and facilities are great. Not stayed but from the parts I’ve seen the rooms should be nice. Bar is nice and

A grand hotel, except we were so disappointed when myself and my wife and our adult son arrived back from a show around midnight and were refused a night cap drink in the bar by a very ignorant bar man who informed us that we could order a drink in the hotel lobby but we would have to wait 30 minutes. Then the girl at reception told us we could only order drinks from our room. We did so and our drinks arrived in 15 minutes and paid the exorbitant price of 42 euros for 2 whiskeys and a pint of Guinness. I should say it left a bitter taste in my mouth about the staff and service in this hotel.☹️

We had an excellent stay. The staff on reception were fantastic and very friendly. The room was fantastic. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the house burger. Excellent long-term stay experience (reception, reservations, housekeeping and restaurants). A special mention to Bala and his team & Claire for the welcoming, professional ambiance at reception and going the extra mile. Very convenient proximity to UCD campus and nearby bus routes.

Hairs in whb and shower tray, though the cleaners have my sympathy... it must be a pain to clean with the rainshower fitting.
