Brasserie on the Corner in Galway

This is absolutely the best. The food is superb, the tastes, flavours, presentation, and portion size is perfect. The staff are happy, so friendly and nice. The bar and restaurant are gorgeous, warm, comfortable, and the music.. we loved it. We stayed until closing, why move. Where could be better. If I lived in Galway id be there every week. We got the inexpensive options..... under 20euro main course..... can you imagine what the 25 and 30 euro options taste like. The wine gin beer flowed, so we spent a good bit more ..

I heard about this restaurant from a blogger. It was very good! I had the mussels (like the blogger recommended) and my husband had the fish and chips. Both dishes were very big and delicious! Prizes were very reasonable too. Service was a little slow at the bar but the place was packed for lunch at that time. Definitely get reservations since we barely were able to find a table at 2 pm.

Lovely spot on a cold windy morning. Staff are great and the full breakfast was perfect. Best cooked breakfast I've had anywhere, and I've had a lot 😁The cosy fire was a very nice bonus. Toilets were immaculate too.

Best dinner in Ireland. Wonderful menu selections and the food and atmosphere were perfect !

We ate here for lunch after a long grueling day. Lots of tourists but equally so lots of locals. Portion sizes were adequate, actually more than adequate - I could finish and it was great to be there visiting Ireland with my parents. Memories we won't forget.

Excellent food and drink A little uncomfortable when crowded.

Came to the Brasserie for lunch on our tour of Galway, what a fantastic choice. The manager came and greeted us, we enjoyed the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever had (with a beer & cider of course) and then had fantastic conversation. Diana and Miranda WILL be back here!!!!

The chowder was one of the best I’ve ever had! Our servers were Fianna & chloe and both were really friendly and prompt with service! Absolutely will be back again!

The booking process at Brasserie on the Corner was smooth and hassle-free. They were very prompt in replying when I asked to move our reservation to an earlier time ,great customer service from the start. We arrived a bit early and waited briefly, which was totally fine. A gentleman ( believe his name was Rory), kindly guided us to our table. Our server, Neil, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout. I had mentioned in advance that it was my daughter’s birthday, and when I reminded Neil, he didn’t miss a beat. They gave her a lovely surprise, complete with the team singing Happy Birthday and presenting a dessert beautifully plated with “Happy Birthday” written on it. It truly made the moment extra special. Huge thanks to Neil and the team! The food was absolutely delicious. We skipped the starters as we had eaten earlier at a café, but the mains were superb, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The ambience was spot on,cozy and relaxing. I had requested a quiet, private table, and they granted that perfectly. Everything from service to food to atmosphere was just top-notch. I’m genuinely super impressed with this restaurant. 😍👌 Highly recommended for special occasions or just a quality dining experience in Galway!
