Brasserie on the Corner in Galway

We had a marvellous time! We ate the toastie with a soup and a lasagna. Everything was good. Would recommend!

Brasserie on the Corner is one of our favourite restaurants in Galway and considering Galway’s selection of incredible restaurants, that’s saying something. The staff are incredible, the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Although the dinner menu is quite pricy the portions are really quite big and very tasty. We would definitely recommend the pork belly and lamb! Their lunch menu is great: not so expensive, really tasty and great portion sizes. I would recommend booking in advance as it gets full very quickly, even on week days. We will definitely be back!

The last 2 mornings my wife and I have had breakfast in your restaurant and it is the best breakfast in the city. The price of the full irish also INCLUDES a pot of tea, most places this is a add on. The staff are very professional and friendly. We have a 1 year old and most places will serve hot food while reaching over the buggy, not here. Will most definitely be back again and we are looking forward to having dinner here in the near future.

We had a wonderful staff party here! There was a delightful selection of cocktails, and the food and atmosphere were superb. I highly recommend the beef croquettes for a starter, the pork belly for the main course, and the date sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The staff were also very friendly.

American tourists here. Would say we explored a numerous amount of restaurants in Galway. That being said, this was by far the best food we have had in Ireland. Kiss the chef for me and those reading the review should note this place as the spot in Galway to eat. 11/10 would highly recommend.

The staff and surroundings were lovely. The food was underwhelming. I was hoping for better as this was a top rated restaurant which we chose based on overall TripAdvisor rankings. We ordered the fish and chips and the chicken club sandwich. The fish breading was doggy on the bottom and the sandwich was pretty underwhelming. Chips, side salad were just fine. We were sadly disappointed.

WE had a nice evening here during our trip to Galway. We had no reservation but after 15 minutes spent at the bar with a beer we were seated. Staff were lovely. We ordered mussels to start and Pork Belly and Lamb to follow. Food was delicious. Good value for money.
