What you like to see in an Irish pub, well-stocked bar, ample staff, a fire in the hearth when there's a chill in the air outside and plenty of comfortable seating. The friendly and efficient staff made the stay an extreme positive, plus the food was excellent.

Fit us in at late notice had a great meal. Staff was amazing 💖

We made an impromtu visit on Friday evening and although the restaurant was very busy we were offered a table for two by the bar which was fine. The slow cooked lamb was the best I've ever had and the service was excellent.

The staff and surroundings were lovely. The food was underwhelming. I was hoping for better as this was a top rated restaurant which we chose based on overall TripAdvisor rankings. We ordered the fish and chips and the chicken club sandwich. The fish breading was doggy on the bottom and the sandwich was pretty underwhelming. Chips, side salad were just fine. We were sadly disappointed.

WE had a nice evening here during our trip to Galway. We had no reservation but after 15 minutes spent at the bar with a beer we were seated. Staff were lovely. We ordered mussels to start and Pork Belly and Lamb to follow. Food was delicious. Good value for money.
