Great place to visit. Two very friendly ladies behind the bar, and great music on.the Saturday night,plus a very good Pint of Coors ,looking forward to calling there again, highly recommended.

Had a brilliant AGM and Awards night for Kilkenny cricket club at Breathnach’s. Great crowd, amazing music, and top-notch service as always. Big shoutout to their management — your hard work and dedication really show in everything you do. Thanks for bringing people together and making it such a special night.

We made a quick stop in Killkenny and had lunch here. The Italian waitress was really attentive and quick. Even though the 0.0 Guinness was empty, she topped everything up again for us at lunch. She recommended the Shepherd's Pie, which was excellent both in terms of both consistency and taste. The fries were delicious with the skin on and crispy. We also had the Sunday roast, which was also absolutely delicious! The price was really fair, too! It was also very cozy in the warm pub!

After a day strolling around Kilkenny, the perfect ending: a great pub where you can eat and drink away from the hustle and bustle. Draught beer, Shepherd's Pie, and a friendly atmosphere make this a perfect place to dine in Kilkenny. P.S. The Italian girl serving was very kind and precise in describing the dishes! Good job!

30/07/2025: Have had the pleasure of eating here twice over a few days. Brunch/Breakfast on a busy Saturday... pancakes excellent with bacon and maple syrup. And a kids portion of Nutella pancakes all went down a treat We had beetroot and avocado toast which was lovely could have eaten more. Was nearby for lunch on a second occasion and the food didn't disappoint. Burger and fries where tasty. Kids sliders and chips went down a treat. Missed out on dessert as it was closing time. Coffee was good. Both occasions staff where very nice and friendly service was quick. Will be back!
24/07/2025: Had the most amazing birthday breakfast for my wife at Doppio’s and couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. We ordered the full Irish and the blueberry pancakes both were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, great quality ingredients, and full of flavour. The pancakes especially were a real hit fluffy, fresh, and packed with blueberries! I’ve also had lunch here in the past, and the steak sandwich still stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had served on a rustic baguette, packed with flavour, and cooked just right. Consistently great food, lovely atmosphere, and fantastic service. Highly recommend Doppio’s it’s a gem! 👏🍳🥩🫐

22/08/2025: I had the pleasure of being looked after by Ellie at the Kilkenny store … To say she just a lovely person is an understatement.. She was just so polite and went above and beyond to be just a happy helpful person .. I wasn’t having the best day but to say her kindness and being a genuine nice person really turned what was a disasterous day around… thanks so much ..
