Very delicious food, even after 8:30 p.m. Highly recommended!

This is where you want to eat in Castletown-bearhaven! My meal was easily the best calamari I've had. The Cajun spices were subtle and a perfect compliment to the unmistakably fresh tasting calamari. A side salad is rarely something to write home about (difficult to eat, uninspired) but this one deserve a mention. It was tasty, appropriately dressed and a great variety of leaves and fruit. And the bite of my partner's lemon sole that I got was tremendous too

A great restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food. For a fish restaurant, I'd expect you to be able to eat fresh fish instead of fried. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The Irish coffee was delicious.

We arrived unexpectedly, and the staff tried to find a solution for us. We waited 10 minutes at the counter with a Guinness, and then we got a table. Delicious crab gratin and ultra-fresh fish and chips. Carrot cake and an Irish coffee for dessert. The only downside: they didn't accept credit cards.

This was one of the best meals we had in Ireland during our two weeks. The fish pie was delicious and the fried calamari EXTRAORDINARY!! It’s a small place so plan accordingly. But don’t miss it.

Absolutely lovely gem of a spot. Great service, everyone was so kind and even helped call me a taxi after I missed my bus. The restaurant itself was very pretty and quaint and had very nice and well kept restrooms. And of course, the food was incredible. The fish was so so fresh and the side salad was a proper salad, not just a few pieces of lettuce and carrot like at most places where you get a side salad with fish and chips. It had apple, watermelon, beets, and great dressing. And the chips were great and both the breaded and steamed fish was delicious. The dessert was also amazing. Such moist cakes and the gluten free option was so good as well. 10/10. Would absolutely come here again and hope that other travelers stumble upon it!!

I love this restaurant! The Chowder is better than the award winning Chowder from another restaurant. Nice ladies. Hard working. Crab sandwich delicious. Fish and chips delicious. Been there 3 times in 3 weeks. Fantastic!

Fresh fish! You eat it the same day it is catched, in the second largest fishing port of Ireland. Friendly service as well. I had beef stew which was excellent as was the haddock (fish of the day). The chairs at the high tables are not very comfortable.
