Bridie Murphy's Home Bakery in Galway

This is a local gem of a bakery. The owner uses Irish oats and innovative in his baking providing scrumptious traditional scones and bread, and gf oat scones that are moist and delicious. The bakery is in honor of the owners mother who was a grand baker. You will get a great coffee or tea, a filling bite and be welcome by wonderful owner and staff.

Delicious and flaky vegan sausage roll, and perfectly soft and flavorful apple almond oat scone. Not to mention the kind and warm staff. Highly recommend!

Freshly baked every morning, beautifully rustic and full of that comforting, homemade taste. The apple and almond scones pictured here are simply gorgeous — the smell alone is enough to make you salivate, and they taste even better than they look. Whether you’re meeting friends, catching up with colleagues or enjoying a proper Irish scone with a cup of tea or coffee, Bridie Murphy’s has that rare feeling of being somewhere you can relax, laugh and feel at home. Lovely staff and excellent coffee. The barista is very professional,makes very stylish coffee, and Martin’s scones are some of the best in Galway. Highly recommended. We’ll be back definitely.
