Bridie's Bar & General Store in Kilkenny

Spent an hour or so there last June. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly service, good food. One of my favorite stops in Ireland. Just a very comfortable place to be. A great place for quiet conversation of an afternoon.

My favourite outdoor social area in Kilkenny!

We hosted a small wedding reception at Bridie’s Bar & General Store and had a wonderful experience. The food was provided by the Langston Hotel and was of excellent quality. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The interior decor is charming and stylish, and the back garden was incredibly functional and added a great atmosphere to the event. One of the highlights was being able to play our own music, which made the celebration feel very personal and joyful. Since it was a private event, we had exclusive use of the venue at no additional cost. Overall, it was a perfect setting for our wedding celebration, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming venue.

I wish I had more time to stay at this lovely cafe-pub-bakery-store. The decor is lovely. The staff was energetic and helpful. The space has an amazing vibe. We look forward to returning again on our next trip. Thank you
