Bright Side in Cork

Bright Side has become a regular stop in our morning. The staff are always welcoming, the coffee is up there with the best in Cork, and the white chocolate and raspberry muffins are to die for.

Lovely little spot for a coffee. The service is very friendly and welcoming. Coffee always delicious. I docked a star for the Hallumi bagel because I just thought it tasted a bit odd with the combination of ingredients. It was nice enough but just a bit too sweet with the squash and the caramelised onion relish. I was a little disappointed I hadn’t ordered something else. Aside from that I do enjoy the setup of this cafe it’s bright and airy and nice to sit in.

Great little spot with very reasonable prices. I ordered the Eggs on Toast. Bread was a delicious chewy sourdough and the eggs were fried perfectly with creamy yolks that were spreadable on the toast. Great breakfast for 8€. Staff is friendly and the interior is cozy and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing breakfast here while visiting Cork. It's small and was packed at the time we were there. But they were very accommodating and helped locate a table for us. They have gluten-free bread and gluten-free oat milk. Mocha and chai were fabulous. Everything was delicious!

The perfect place for a hearty breakfast before venturing into Cork city center! I discovered it by chance because it was close to my hotel, but it won my heart for the kindness of the staff, the professionalism of the service, and the quality of the products.

Very good and healthy breakfast (vegan too). The ladies prepare everything fresh and efficiently. We came here every day during our week in Cork, whether to go or in the café. Highly recommended. Service is friendly, and if you have to wait due to a rush of customers, it's worth the wait!

10 month update: Still excellent coffee and porridge! Really excellent coffee and food. The best of people working in there too so just go there really.

The shop was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were fast, super friendly and had the biggest smiles. Not to mention the simple ham and cheese toastie that tasted amazing
