Brú Bar & Hostel in Cork

You get what you pay for. Very clean I have to say. Beds first night you can feel it , however you get used to. Bar was also fine , spend few hours watching premier league games . Only thing I have to point is , 8.30 in the morning (Monday ) someone drilling somewhere next to the rooms. Even with my earplugs was loud as the building is old and walls are not keeping the noise . Apart of that , enjoyable experience .

Not much more you could work from a hostel very clean felt very safe the entire time. Make sure to bring cash as to get a key card. You need to give a €10 deposit you’ll get back afterwards like breakfast just cereal and toast. Not much more you could watch it was really good.

Great hostel. As a college student on a weekend trip, it hit every need I could’ve wanted. Had security for my bags, free breakfast, less than a 5 min walk from the bus station, super close to lots of tourist attractions and other fun spots.

Clean enough, and I liked that two uses of the key card were required to get into a room. It felt safe, and was very conveniently located. Be sure to bring a lock for the lockers, as well as your own hand towels for the bathroom. Beware that the pre-check in storage actually isn't free. Other than a slight mishap where they changed the room of some of my group members, service was fine.

BRú bar And Hostel McCurtain Street Cork. Nice bar nice helpful Staff great bar to watch Live Sports on one of their Many Widescreen TV's! Plenty different types of Alcoholic beverages! Seating inside and outside! Outside seating well Covered from weather elements! And also a popular Hostel for any weary Traveler or Tourist can get a bed for the night and enjoy live music most nights in the Bar Downstairs! Well worth a visit! Close to Bus station and Railway Station too! only walking distance from the City Centre!

Friendly approachable employees. Bar Keeper friendly with guests, public. Musicians hired for occasion entertainment commendable. Welcoming.

Quite poor quality/price. Correct and clean double room with private bathroom. Noise was a problem during the night as other guests who arrived during the night were very loud and sounded like they were inside the room, waking me up on several occasions. Breakfast was included and was adequate with a short but sufficient selection. The best thing was the music group that played in the bar during the afternoon.

Great place to stay at Cork if you don't mind staying in a hostel. Super friendly staff.

23-24/10/2024 A cool place to stay, friendly staff and clean. The only problem is that some guests seem never consider other guests. Their hygiene is so bad (Feet and body odour). I stayed in 308, one guy made the room smell so bad. Thank God the other guy had the guts to tell him about the smell of his feet.
