Brú Bar & Hostel in Cork

All the staff were very friendly except for the manager, who was bland and rude. I went to ask her a question, and she treated me in the worst possible way. She wouldn't let me speak, and when she got tired, she passed the problem to one of her employees and left in the middle of the conversation. The music from the bar can be heard in the rooms at night, even making the floor rumble.

Great pint at €5.50 on one of the most expensive streets in Cork City Center. With prices in the City reaching €6.50+ There is also happy hour and menu deals. It also has a hostel and bar with screens, also outdoor seating. In a great location for transport. If a visitor or a local a great place to check and enjoy.

Good location, very handy for all transport - buses and trains etc. Rooms were okay. Not much in the way of backpackers' atmosphere, but I might’ve just been unlucky on the night I was there.

Had a lovely stay. Safe, clean, cheap option. The breakfast was pretty basic but it does the job.

Was here before so far a very good hostel cannot say one bad word called a half hour before arrival and told the staff had a bicycle with me and were a 100 per cent okay gave me storage for my bike and all very welcoming and any time I told them might have to check out a bit earlier than usual were 100 per cent about that too so welcoming and easy going their pizza and pint special is good and it was good very easy going but well managed hostel they know how to pour a good pint and very decent cocktails and great music most nights of the week I would definitely highly recommend BRU BAR AND HOSTEL to anyone 👍

Excellent service! The staff was very friendly. The bar was great, with live music. The rooms were clean and tidy. The quality/price ratio exceeded expectations.

Excellent location. The cleanliness of the facilities and kitchen equipment was outstanding. The staff was excellent, especially Vicente, who was very kind, friendly, and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very good. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return and recommend it! Thank you!

A lively inn and pub at the same time. Ideal for tourists and holidaymakers.
