Highly recommend for lunch. The bar area was busy so we went to the restaurant upstairs. I got the steak sandwich which was €21 and the portions were huge. Steak was also cooked very well. I would definitely return

Had a great night out here recently, fine pint downstairs in a proper pub atmosphere, very impressed with the food served in the restaurant, very pleasant and attentive staff, will find a reason to go back for another night out ASAP!

Pub is fantastic great pints food and barmen. Restaurant same food but service not as good. Prefer to eat same food downstairs

One of the best meats I've ever eaten, the prices are high, but it's worth it. Always good to make a reservation.

Came here to try the steak sandwich from FX Buckley and I was not expecting it to be so big but for 21e you would hope for this portion size! The sandwich came with a generous portion of chunky chipper chips and sauce along with some other veggies and I added cheese on top. Sandwich was good, the chips and sauce were excellent. I would have liked a smaller portion of meat and in ciabatta bread and a cheaper price as a result as otherwise the abundance of meat is overwhelming for a lunch item. But enjoyed the meal and experience overall!

Ryans is a reminder of an age long gone by. It reeks of history and the decor is untouched largely by modernisation. The food and drink are expensive for the area, especially the food. But then it is no ordinary pub and you are paying for that privilege. There's even a snug, a small private room where women had to go, accompanied by a man of course, to be entitled to an alcoholic drink. As I said, a bygone age. But Ryans for all thatcus still worth a visit.

Amazing fillet steak, dessert, creamy pints, and top class service. I am home for my mum who has major surgery today at the Mater hospital and after a walk in phoenix park , accidentally took a punt and this was a perfect place to chill out and relax. Thank you!
