Buffalo Boy in Carrick-on-shannon

Always a great time! Cold glasses for a pint, nice spicy wings with blue cheese, big hamburgers, ribs are delicious! Staff are welcoming and attentive!

Have not tried the food yet, This Guinness review cannot wait, on my multiple day long Shannon river journey, Ive had some truly amazing Pints of magical dark red beverages. This was the best. This was not our first visit. The meat used to be tastier, apparently this time we were less lucky. The dessert was gorgeous, the bar was also top notch. We were a little disappointed when after we finished eating, we were asked to move to the bar counter, although our table remained free all this time. But this did not spoil the overall atmosphere and overall we left satisfied.

Had a meal this evening here and ordered the signature burger it was very bland and tasteless and came with a tiny portion of chips and a dash of salad on the side for the price it was a real let down.. service was decent staff are nice and pleasant

I visited Buffalo Boy for the first time during the busy Christmas party season and am wondering why I hadn’t tried it before. The place was absolutely hopping but this didn’t detract from the wonderful service the table received. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were delicious but perhaps a few more tomatoes wouldn’t go amiss. The pepper sauce was particularly tasty. The dessert plate was divine particularly the cheesecake and the warm sticky toffee pudding. Fantastic selection of cocktails and spirits too. Really impressed with everything on offer at Buffalo Boy and the staff were amazing. Can’t wait to go again!
