​We had an absolutely fantastic time at Buffalo Boy in Carrick-on-Shannon, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was spot on—warm, inviting, and exactly what you want from a top-tier steakhouse and BBQ joint. ​The food was incredible (ribs were very good), but what really made the night very special was the world-class service. Every member of the team was friendly and attentive, but we have to give a massive shout-out to the lovely Mary. ​Mary looked after us for the evening and she was simply brilliant. She was so professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. It’s rare to find service that feels both so seamless and so genuine. ​If you’re in Carrick, check out the top class Buffalo Boy. Lovely food and great vibes.

Simple, well executed food and great cocktails

Enjoyed a wonderful family meal. Tasty food, friendly efficient service and lively atmosphere. We all had versions of chargrilled steak. So tasty. Can't wait to go back

30 day sirloin was perfect. I don’t usually like steaks from restaurants but they nailed it. Get the old fashioned while you’re here too

Great night and great food staff are great

I went here for a nice birthday meal with my partner. We both enjoyed our food and the cocktail was really nice. I was a little disappointed that they had something still on the menu that they no longer serve, but I didn't mind too much as I just got the serving platter for 2 and shared with my partner. The sharing platter and share if you dare dessert selection is a really cute idea for couples especially. Will definitely be coming back for a cocktail night and a bite to eat.

Easily one of the best restaurants i’ve been at. Shared so many dishes, from starters to desserts and everything was 10/10. The chicken wings, signature burger and short ribs were just amazing. The cherry on top then was the baileys cheesecake. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
