Lovely place for a Christmas party

I tried booking a conference room one morning every week for four hours for a community event which would have brought breakfast business to their cafe. It took several attempts to get a price from them and when they did come back they told me they were giving me a special offer and only charging me the extortionate sum of €300 per week for those four hours usage. The most we had been charged for better more modern hotel venues in Roscommon town and indeed hotels in Athlone all charge under €100 .. it beggars belief how they believe anyone would bother using their venue if this is the ridiculous prices they are quoting, the bush hotel used to be such a lovely community hotel but sadly this is no longer the case.

Good food efficient staff

Spent a lovely weekend in the Bush Hotel in Carrick on Shannon. Great 👍 service and food staff are very friendly and helpful

Fabulous time, we visited as a group of four female friends and booked a quadruple room, it was large and had loads of space, the hotel is in a great location for all the shops and nightlife. We had a great night in McHughs, a very friendly pub with irish singer. The village is spotless

Lovely, old world hotel, spotless and homely tasting food, lovely staff. I'll be back

Update: My partner and I stayed overnight here on 19th of August on a 'room only' basis. Our room was lovely and clean with comfortable beds and crisp sheets. The room had a wall mounted TV, a seating area with a small round table and two chairs, an en suite bathroom with dispenser bottles of soap etc, a dressing table and built in wardrobe. There was a complimentary bottle of sparkling and still water in the room also. We had a lovely first Communion meal here recently. The menu was varied and there was something for everyone and plenty of it.
