Perfect location, lovely staff. Nice bar and lounge which was a nice surprise because I couldn't see it on the website. Lovely breakfast. Zero complaints. Very secure, staff were very on top of who is coming and going.

Stayed two nights in one of the oldest hotels in the country, I reckon. The place has a real charm to it, with loads of old photos on the walls showing its history from way back. Right in the heart of the town, so you couldn’t ask for a better spot. The hotel itself is lovely, and there’s a big car park just 50m away, handy as anything. Well worth a stay!

Great people and location. Very friendly staff with lots of knowledge of both the city as well as the greater area. Came for 1 week but stayed for 2.

Fantastic little hotel with a huge amount of old charm. Room was really big and breakfast was excellent ( not a carvery so food was super fresh ). Highly recommend.

It's not the most luxurious place, but the staff are great. We stayed here when the power was off and the place was sold out. The staff were run off their feet but remained very helpful and much cheerier than the customers who came in after having no for three days.

01/04/2025: Absolutely outstanding service! The girls there are so helpful and nice. I ran in last week and grabbed a pre-prepared sandwich and it was lovely so I said I would do the same today except there was no pre-made available so the very helpful lady made it up to order and it was even nicer than last week (no tomatoes please 😆). It was very busy as it always is but they always go the extra mile for their customers.
22/03/2025: I picked up a selection of pastries for afternoon tea with my grand-daughtr who was coming to visit me
