Really good hotel. Nice old school and really in a top location. Beds are a bit worn out…super nice staff!

Extremely unpleasant staff who just seemed annoyed with having to answer questions or provide any service at all. You have to leave your key with the front desk prior to leaving for any reason and then stand there and wait until on of the front desk staff decide to acknowledge your presence to get your key back so you can go to your room.

Nice pleasant hotel, great location. Nice staff.
Good bar but should get proper wine glasses, not the industrial ones they use.

Our first room, 118, overlooked a ventilation fan and the hotel toilets on the floor below, leading to a lot of noise. Our second room, 125, was worse. The window soundproofing was completely inadequate. It's situated above a service entrance where staff would gather for chat and cigarettes, and deliveries were made. There was also a flat-roofed building adjacent to the room and each morning experienced what sounded like somebody kicking a ball against the wall. Plus this is an expensive hotel, 290€ per night! Our beautiful, quiet, comfortable hotel in Paris was less at 250€.

Conveniently located near St. Stephen’s Green and walking distance to Trinity. The rooms are small and, if they face the street, do carry noise. The compact double was very tight for one person, so I recommend a different room.
