Butlers and Barry’s wouldn’t have been the same without our server Kristina!!! From start to finish, she was full of life and energy and it made our overall experience so positive. She was so attentive and clearly happy to be working at this stunning restaurant. We will definitely be returning and we’ll be hoping to have Kristina as our server again :)

This place has amazing views of the sea by the window.. only downfall was definitely the soup of the day. Wasnt as nice as expected and giving one slice of brown bread, the warm oreo brownie was amazing. The service was very quick though despite it being so busy.

Christening party with family of all ages. We booked a section of the restaurant and enjoyed finger food and drinks. Very good value and we all enjoyed ourselves. Great sea view, comfortable seating, good service. Will give again.

Friends and family arranged a surprise party for me on Saturday night. To say it was brilliant was an understatement. We had a private section away from the restaurant with loads of space and tables for everyone to sit at. Platters of food were lovely, we were event sent out more food complementary as some people were still hungry. Big shout out to the manager for looking after us and giving us a great night! Will recommend this spot to more people for private parties!!

We had a work night out in Butler & Barry with over 20 staff on 30/05/25. We have gone there several times before and enjoyed it so the staff were happy to return for another night, but we won't be going back again. I had complaints about portion size, items that were ordered the last time we were there were now much smaller, especially the caesar salad. Some items just not as nice as they were before. Items arriving cold. But the biggest complaint was the lack of staff. You could not get a staff member for love nor money. If you tried to flag someone down to order a drink, they were so busy they kept saying they would be back, but not returning. Some drinks that did get ordered never arrived. As we had such a big group, we are not even sure if these missing drinks were added to the bill or not. We had to keep going up individually to the bar to order drinks and then explain each time to the bar staff which table we were at and point across so that the drinks could be added to the correct tab. In the end everyone gave up and we paid the bill (€1,600.00) and went to the Martello to get served. Severely understaffed and disappointing portions.
