Butlers Chocolate Café, Galway in Galway

02/02/2025: The place is a very nice and cozy café hidden in one of Galway’s streets. The dark hot chocolate though, didn’t meet our expectations. The description on the menu was far from reality. It would be better to be informed beforehand, while ordering, that the drink would be missing the toppings that are listed in the menu. Also the chocolate itself tasted like cheap chocolate milk. It was not worth the money, even though the server gave us a little discount because they were out of marshmallows, which we did not now until we got the drinks. Also toilets did not work and people who came later got coffee sooner than us.

01/02/2025: This is a well run, well sourced cafe. Food is individually prepared, tastes lovely & service is friendly & pro active. The quality of the food & coffee outshines the big brands. Try it!
